Phipps Street Burying Ground
Phipps & Lawrence Streets
Charlestown, MA 02129

The Phipps Street Burying Ground is always locked, but it can be opened by the Boston Cemetery Divison with at least a 24-hour notice (617-635-7361).

I didn’t have the time, or foresight, to arrange for the cemetery to be unlocked, so I had to hop the fence. I walked around looking for Gorham’s grave for more than an hour with no luck. If anyone knows exactly where in the cemetery it is, I would really appreciate an email.

Through extensive research, the best I am able to determine as that his grave is unmarked and the location is presently unknown.

@Michael
Thanks for that. In that case I feel a little better not finding it.

Do you mean that the location of his grave is completely unknown, or that its location in the Phipps Street Burying Ground is unknown?
